What it means to be a B Corporation

Being a B Corporation means we meet the highest standards of verified social and environmental performance, public transparency, and legal accountability to balance profit and purpose. We’re also certified Climate Positive, as we offset our emissions by 120%. Being a certified B Corp means contributing to a global culture shift to redefine success in business and build an ethically minded economy. Since 2015 we have done things a little differently and instead of working with large scale fast fashion factories, we decided to empower talented craftsmen and women, used carefully selected responsibly sourced materials, and maintained our commitment to help restore fragile ecosystems.

What did we have to do to achieve accreditation?

We assessed our existing processes and our entire supply chain to ensure we we're doing good for both people and planet. We took every piece of our business into account, from how we treat our craftsmen, to measuring, reducing, and offsetting our carbon footprint by 120% of our annual greenhouse gas emissions. No stone was left unturned when it came to assessing how we could improve our business, even the type of light bulbs we use in our office were taken into account!

What does this certification mean for you?

Transparency, traceability and trust. You can follow the entire journey of your Duffle&Co pieces through our traceable QR code system that is linked to bloc chain. It also means that in choosing Duffle&Co you directly help to restore fragile ecosystems by planting 5 trees with every purchase through our work with Eden Reforestation Projects.
